Brian Flurer

At the executive helm, architectural design center, and master project leadership of Ocean City Kitchen & Bath Cabinetry & Appliances Inc is President Brian Flurer. Serving homeowners, custom residential builders, coastal property investors, and condominium associations throughout Ocean City, Maryland, and the surrounding Delmarva coastal communities, Brian brings an extraordinary foundation of trade expertise and design innovation to every project. Since 1998, Brian has guided Ocean City Kitchen & Bath Cabinetry & Appliances Inc as a family-owned design-build destination, bringing over 42 years of combined trade and interior remodeling experience to ensure every renovation exceeds client expectations from initial 3D concept to final installation.

Brian’s primary professional expertise centers on comprehensive kitchen design, master bathroom design, spatial ergonomics, luxury cabinetry specification, and integrated appliance planning. Crafting a high-end kitchen or bathroom in a coastal environment presents unique structural and environmental considerations. Brian pairs deep technical knowledge of moisture resistance, structural framing, plumbing pathways, electrical appliance loads, and ventilation clearances with a refined aesthetic eye. Whether reconfiguring a cramped condominium kitchen layout to create an open-concept entertainment hub or designing a spa-inspired primary bathroom retreat, Brian balances visual elegance, optimal storage capacity, and everyday functional durability.

Brian’s mastery is further anchored by formal professional training and industry accreditations. He holds prestigious 2020 Design Accreditation, the industry gold-standard computer-aided design (CAD) platform for interior planning. Using 2020 Design, Brian creates photorealistic 3D renderings that allow homeowners to visualize cabinetry finishes, countertop surfaces, backsplash profiles, and lighting schemes with millimeter precision before fabrication begins. This digital accuracy eliminates guesswork, prevents costly field adjustments, and ensures that every cabinet box, crown molding trim, and built-in luxury appliance fits within the exact architectural parameters of the space.

A Solid Foundation: Trade School, Warwick College & Deep Construction Roots

Brian’s authority as a design-build leader is built on a diverse educational foundation and extensive hands-on construction experience. Brian honed his technical and analytical abilities through higher education at Warwick College, which he paired with rigorous technical trade school training and a comprehensive, ground-up background in residential construction. This hands-on background gives Brian an immense competitive advantage over traditional showroom designers who lack practical field experience. Brian understands how walls are framed, how plumbing stacks run through multi-story coastal structures, and how weight-bearing considerations impact cabinetry installation.

Because of this deep construction foundation, Brian designs with full constructability in mind. He anticipates hidden structural challenges behind drywall—such as off-center waste pipes, uneven subfloors, and electrical conduit runs common in coastal condominium towers—resolving potential construction roadblocks long before the installation crew arrives on site. His technical background allows him to work seamlessly alongside general contractors, master plumbers, and licensed electricians, ensuring that cabinet installations, countertop fabrications, and built-in appliance placements proceed smoothly and strictly on schedule.

Under Brian’s guidance, Ocean City Kitchen & Bath Cabinetry & Appliances Inc provides end-to-end design and remodeling solutions. The firm offers comprehensive cabinetry lines ranging from semi-custom to fully custom architectural millwork, paired with quartz, granite, and porcelain countertops, designer hardware, and high-performance kitchen appliances. By managing design, product procurement, and professional installation under one roof, Brian provides a streamlined, stress-free remodeling experience that eliminates the logistical miscommunication often caused by juggling multiple independent vendors.

Coastal Living Heritage, Ocean City Passion & Dedicated Community Service

When he is not in the design studio generating 3D floor plans or overseeing custom kitchen installations, Brian fully embraces the coastal lifestyle that defines Ocean City. An avid boating enthusiast, Brian spends as much of his personal time as possible on the water, navigating local bays, waterways, and the Atlantic Ocean. His passion for the ocean, the beach, and the natural beauty of the Maryland coastline directly inspires his design work. Brian frequently incorporates organic coastal textures, airy palettes, soft nautical hues, and natural light optimization into his projects, helping homeowners achieve that timeless, relaxed coastal aesthetic inside their residences.

Outside of his maritime interests, Brian is an avid consumer of the arts, with a deep appreciation for cinema and music. His passion for movies and music reflects his creative spirit and appreciation for detailed composition—traits that directly enhance his spatial design work, where balance, rhythm, harmony, and visual focal points are essential to creating inviting interior living spaces.

As a devoted business leader in Ocean City, Brian believes strongly in giving back to the community that has supported his family-owned company for nearly three decades. Under Brian’s direction, Ocean City Kitchen & Bath Cabinetry & Appliances Inc proudly offers exclusive Veteran Discounts, honoring the brave men and women who have served the country. Brian also recognizes that a major interior remodel is a significant financial investment, which is why he provides accessible financing options, allowing homeowners to achieve their dream spaces comfortably. To ensure an accessible, client-focused onboarding process, Brian delivers free, comprehensive project estimates within one week, paired with robust manufacturer warranties and a commitment to professional craftsmanship.
